About

About me

As a mechatronics engineer I am passionate about programming, microcontrollers and embedded real-time systems, prototyping electronics projects and more. I am passionate about Technology that can make our lives better, more enjoyable and fun.

During my master studies I did focus on real-time systems which are vital for embedded systems that handle safety-relevant or time-critical applications, such as aviation and robotics.

As such, autonomous mobility is one particularly fascinating field that I am into. Autonomous vehicles will have a major impact on how we move. It will enable us to spend more time for the important things, provide enjoyable mobility to everyone and most importantly save lives.

Currently I am interning at Mercedes-Benz’s autonomous driving project. Compute heavy algorithms for environment perception, sensor fusion and more are needed to realize autonomous driving. Porting these algorithms to an embedded system is an important step on the way to the series production of autonomous cars. I am working on benchmarking and optimizing code in the sensor fusion team for our embedded target system.

About This website

I use this website to organize my projects, ideas and more. Presented projects might be about any topics that interest me. These will possibly range from small microprocessor builds, over embedded and real-time system applications to computer vision and autonomous driving projects and beyond.
